How would I go about doing that? I'm 17 and I know this is something alot of parents and teachers hear, but I seriously hate school, The thought of me just staying there all day makes me want to commit suicide. I'm not getting bullied I just like to be alone and work at my own pace...Once in my classes a girl was getting bullied and they let her take her work from school and go home and do it. And that's all I'm asking for. But the school is acting like it's not possible when I KNOW IT IS. What would be the right words to use if I was going to ask them to let me do it? (I'm from Toronto Canada btw.)
follow this formula
stethought for the dayp 1. have a burning desire to accomplish one major definite purpose
step 2. have faith you will succeed.
step 3. organize a definite plan and take action.
step 4. never give up until you achieve your one major definite purpose.
the secret ingredient: consistency in all steps.
I agree with you. I am 17 and I am a junior and I am doing virtual school/home schooling. I enjoy it because I can work at my own pace and by myself. I don't like working with other people either. What I reccomend you do is talk to a counsler or principle or something and talk about you transfering to home schooling. They can either give you a numbethought for the dayr to call or they can set it up for you. That's what they did for me.
Well if you have no harsh reason I don't think they'll do that, if so just try to make up things.. or if your parents are retired (like mine) just home school.......
Not possible unless you qualify for homebound due to a medical or mental condition.
ETA: Principals/school counselors do not set up homeschooling. They set up public school at home programs. Homeschooling is not provided by the public school systems. Homeschooling is like private schooling. It is independent of the public schools.
