Power onn the machine if you are able to see the display well let the machine boot up to Win XP.
XP is plug and play so it will automatically detect tthe hardware and if the driver for your new hardwavideo device driverre is there with Xp it will automatically install the device driver or you will have to do it manually. To do it go through the following way.
Right click my computer go to mamage, you will see an exclamatory mark on your display card, right click it and say update driver, give the path where you have saved the device driver either in the HDD or FDD or CDrom. Here if the CDRom is Auto play and as soon as you insert the CD in to thr ROM drive it will automatically diplay the Welcome screen and after some acceptancvideo device drivere will directly install the driver.
After the install you might be asked to restart the machine, let the machine restart and there you go it's done.

If after connecting your display cord to the Video card you are not able to see the screen put the display back to normal port and start the machine , let the machine boot and then you can install the device driver as instructed above. let the machine to restart and after the restart connect the display card back to Video card.
